Age Requirements
7-8 Division
Open to boys and girls who are not yet 9 as of July 11, 2024
9-10 Division
Open to boys and girls who are not yet 11 as of July 11, 2024
11-12 Division
Open to boys and girls who are not yet 13 as of July 11, 2024
13-14 Division
Open to boys and girls who are not yet 15 as of July 11, 2024
15-18 Division
Open to boys and girls who are not yet 19 as of July 11, 2024
15-18 Division Eligibility
United States
Players living in the United States must qualify to enter the IMG Academy Junior World Golf Championships. 15-18 Division players are NOT eligible to apply online until they have successfully earned a qualifying spot and have received a letter from the Tournament Committee with a registration code. Players do not need to preregister with Junior World to participate in a qualifying tournament. Please contact the golf association hosting the qualifier you are interested in playing in directly.

International
International players should first check to see if their country conducts qualifying tournaments before applying online. For a list of international golf associations, please click HERE.
If your country is listed and conducts qualifying for your age division, please contact the designated representative for more information about how to qualify for the tournament. Players must reside in the country they are representing or have an official endorsement from the governing golf body.
If your country is not listed, please submit a tournament application online during the registration period (February 8, 2024 – March 15, 2024).
14-Under Division Eligibility
United States
Players living in the United States should check the STATE list to see if they are eligible to go through the selection process – whether by submitting a player history form or qualifying through tournaments in their home state. If you are eligible to apply and submit a player history form, please apply during the registration period (February 8, 2024 – March 15, 2024). International

Entry Acceptance
Players will receive a registration acknowledgement within 24 hours of submitting their online application. Please note, this acknowledgement simply confirms the registration has been received by the tournament office.
Selection Process
Players going through the selection process during the registration period (February 8, 2024 – March 15, 2024) will receive one of the following notices by April 1, 2024.
- ACCEPTANCE - Player has been selected to participate in the tournament and will receive additional information via email.
- NON-ACCEPTANCE - Player was not chosen in the selection process and will have to qualify to enter the tournament.
- WAITING LIST - Player has been selected as an alternate and will receive an acceptance notice if a position becomes available. Players on the waiting list are highly encouraged to seek qualifying opportunities in the event a position does not become available. Waiting list spots typically do not become available until the end of June.
Qualified Players/Exemptions
Players will receive a Tournament Acceptance notice within two business days of registering if they earned an exemption from the 2023 tournament or qualified at one of the designated 2024 qualifying tournaments (See 15-18 Qualifiers or 14-Under Qualfiers). Waiting List
The waiting list will be selected by the Tournament Committee and will be limited to a specific number in each division. Those selected for the waiting list will be notified about their waiting list status. Players on the waiting list will be notified as soon as possible if a tournament spot becomes available.

Cancellation Fee
- Cancellations received before May 1, 2024 will be charged a $35 fee.
- Cancellations between May 1, 2024 and June 28, 2024 will be charged a $100 fee.
- Cancellations received after June 28, 2024 will forfeit 100% of the entry fee.
